This volume consists of five papers that have undergone a review process by the editorial committee. The first paper investigates the effect of self-assessment and the use of GeoGebra on students’ achievement and self-directed learning in Junior High School in Thailand. The second paper discusses the case study about Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge of novice mathematics teachers. Meanwhile, the third paper reports the investigation of mathematical knowledge of teaching of secondary preservice teachers in Papua New Guinea. The ethnomathematics project and Hypnoteaching model in distance learning between an Indonesian university and a Taiwanese university were discussed in the fourth paper. Finally, the fifth paper examines a case study of Modality Transitioning in a high school in the Philippines which focuses on the teaching challenges in limited face-to-face mathematics classroom.
