Author Guidelines
Please carefully read the following guidelines:
General Requirements
The manuscript must fulfil the minimum standard requirement as follows:
- Be concise and clear.
- Be written in either UK English
- Ensure the submission is structures as requested by the journal and contains all relevant sections. See “Structure of the Manuscripts” for further details.
- Follow the journal template for page margins and line numbering. See “Journal Template” for details.
- The manuscript should be between 8 to 25 pages long (3000-9000 words) included References.
- Reported data – Data accuracy is crucial. Authors are strongly encouraged to double check all reported data for accuracy and to confirm that all units of measurement are correct and consistent.
- Graphics - All figures and tables should be presented in a clear and informative manner.
- Define all abbreviations when first mentioned.
- The manuscript must be submitted in the correct file type, i.e., main document in an editable Word format.
- Name the file you submit the same as the title of your manuscript.
- Permissions – Ensure that you also have the “Copyright Transfer Agreement” prepared.
- Ethics – Please refer to “Publication Ethics”.
Structured of the Manuscript
The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:
- Title. The title should be concise and informative, for example, describing research aims, method/model, and objective, without acronym or abbreviation.
- Author’s Name and Affiliation. the author(s)’ name must be written without academic degree. Other than invited authors, it is strongly recommended to write in a group of more than 1 author (co-authors).
- Abstract. The abstract must be written in English and has no more than 250 words, following by 3-5 keywords. State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, methodology, main outcomes and results, and conclusion.
- Introduction. The Introduction must provide an adequate background, and very short literature survey to record the existing solutions/method, to show which is the best of previous research, to show the main limitation of the previous research and what you hope to achieve (to solve the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the paper. The authors should state the objectives of the work at the end of introduction section.
- Methods. Methods consist of the chosen methods used in the research; qualitative or quantitative or both.
- Results. Results should be clear and concise. The results should summarize (scientific) findings rather than providing data in detail. Please highlight differences between your results or findings and the previous publications by other researchers.
- Discussion. The discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
- Conclusion. Conclusions should answer the objectives of the research. Tells how your work advances the field from the present state of knowledge. You are recommended to put the implication and suggestion for the further research.
- Acknowledgement. Recognize those who helped in the research, especially funding supporter of your research. Include individuals who have assisted you in your study: Advisors, Financial supporters, or may other supporters i.e., Proof-readers, Typists, and Suppliers who may have given materials.
- References. Expect a minimum of 30 references primarily with a minimum of 85% from reputable journal papers with DOI or URLs. Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or Endnote for reference management and formatting. The citation must be in the form of in-text and bibliography are based on APA 7th Edition.
- The manuscript should be checked and edited by an English Language Editor (Proof-reader)
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
Copyright Notice
This manuscript is an original scientific paper, and the manuscript has not been published in other journal or handed over (transferred) to other journal for publication. The manuscript was submitted only to the Southeast Asia Mathematics Education Journal (SEAMEJ). It will not be submitted anywhere else for publication prior to acceptance/rejection by SEAMEJ. If the work is accepted for publication, the undersigned authors tranfer all copyright ownership in and relating to the Work. However, this agreement will null and void if the Work is not published in the SEAMEJ.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

Authors are required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: 0.00 (USD)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.
If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
